• What are the hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 6:00PM. We provide full-day care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We also provide before-and-after-school care for children who are enrolled in Kindergarten through 12 years of age.

  • What ages of children do you accept?

We accept children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Children of all ages are supervised at all times in accordance to the OFCS student to teacher ratio guidelines.

  • What is your curriculum like?

We follow a play-based curriculum that focuses on socialization, creativity, and early learning skills. Our curriculum is tailored to each child's age and developmental stage.

  • Is there a planned schedule for each day/week?

Absolutely. At Tiny Hearts Childcare, although we are flexible in our ability to cater to children of all ages and academic levels, structure is important. We follow a rigorous schedule that encourages learning and includes active and quiet play, group and individual learning activities, rest time and meal times.

  • What qualifications do your caregivers have?

Our caregivers are all certified in CPR and first aid, and have undergone background checks and training in early childhood development.

  • What to expect during a tour?

All visitors will have the opportunity to meet our Director & Childcare Provider, Lucy Rosario, as well as her accompanying staff. During this time, we would ask basic questions about your child (or children), such as what their specific needs are, what they enjoy eating, their napping schedule (if any!), previous daycare history (also if any!), etc.

  • Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes! We serve warm meals and snacks. Our Center is equipped with a kitchen where we follow guidelines issued by the Department of Health, and proper portions for young children are given. Weekly menus are posted in our Center for parents to view.

  • Is there a special place for my child's belongings?

Yes! All children have their own cubby for their items located in each of the classrooms.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and almost all forms of government vouchers from ACS, HRA and more.

  • What is your sick policy?

We ask that children who are showing signs of illness stay home to prevent the spread of germs. If a child becomes sick while in our care, we will contact the parents immediately.

  • What is your discipline policy?

We believe in positive reinforcement and redirection, and strive to create a calm and supportive environment for all children in our care.

  • What is your drop-off and pick-up policy?

Parents must sign their children in and out every day. Only authorized individuals listed on the child's registration form are allowed to pick up the child. We ask that parents notify us in advance if someone else will be picking up their child.
